Objective strap-tension and wear-time measurement for scoliosis braces.
Bracing only works when a brace is worn — and worn correctly. Today, most wear tracking relies on temperature sensors that can tell whether a brace is on, but not how snugly it's being worn. GH Medical Devices is changing that by measuring strap tension directly, adding a missing dimension to brace wear data.
Our device records the tension of the strap on a child's scoliosis brace, along with the time it's worn. Combined, these measurements give clinicians a clearer, more objective picture of real-world brace use than wear time alone.
We are a family-founded company currently preparing our device for an IRB-approved research study.
